Construct Program
The Construct program is dedicated to diversifying the pool of candidates for construction-related jobs in Illinois. It is supported by ComEd, social service agencies and labor unions. Construct participants receive career guidance, life skills training and practical education about the construction industry. Students also have access to special sessions to interact with company representatives. There is the opportunity to job shadow and to attend career awareness fairs to learn about a range of potential jobs in the industry. The Construct program results in better familiarity with the requirements for entering construction-related fields and better success when entering the industry. We are proud to participate in this program by providing internships and entry-level positions for a host of projects.
Giving Back
As successful members of the community, we have a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate, contribute to the common good and serve as role models and agents of change. The Tuskegee Next program and the Quad County Urban League are just two of the many organizations that we support through board membership, mentorship and financial contributions. The mission of the Tuskegee Next program is to honor the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. Tuskegee Next seeks to transform the lives of at-risk youth through aviation education and career path opportunities so they can transform their communities. Quad County Urban League is dedicated to creating programs that help disadvantaged residents of DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will Counties of Illinois secure equal opportunities for economic growth. In addition to our involvement with the Tuskegee Next Program and the Quad County Urban League, we also lend our talents and financial support to the following organizations.
