George A. Williams, Chairman, President, and CEO
George Williams is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer for PMI Energy Solutions, LLC (PMIES) and is responsible for providing electrical construction, maintenance and technical services to the utility industry. With more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Williams began his career with PMIES, after serving as Chief Operating Officer for El Paso Electric Company. He has also held various executive and senior operational positions with ComEd, Entergy, PPL, Progress Energy and PECO Energy. Mr. Williams has appeared three times on the prestigious Most Important Blacks in Technology list in U.S. Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine. He has been selected as one of Chicago’s Interesting Personalities in Who’s Who in Black Chicago, and recognized by organizations such as Diversity MBA Magazine, the Chicago United 2009 Business Leaders of Color, American Association of Blacks in Energy and the Quad County Urban League. Mr. Williams is a member of the Board of Directors/Trustees for Underwriters Laboratories (UL). He is also an active member and board member of numerous civic and professional organizations. George has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Widener University and an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University.
Greg Williams, Director of Operations
Greg joined PMIES in September 2018 and is responsible for overseeing all project management, planning and contract administration personnel. Greg began his career in the oil and gas industry with roles such as environmental engineer, reliability center coordinator and business improvement engineer for Flint Hills Resources in Corpus Christi, Texas. His areas of expertise include process improvement, cost control and outage planning. Greg is a 2014 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil and environmental engineering. Greg subsequently received his MBA at Texas A&M’s Corpus Christi campus prior to joining PMI.
Lawrence Gaston, Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety
With more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry, Lawrence Gaston has been committed to implementing a comprehensive safety program at PMIES for two years. He has served in various roles at ComEd while having nine years to solely focus on safety protocols. He’s a firm believer that the “common sense” approach is valuable in the workplace along with continuous training to maintain an injury-free and incident-free work environment. His efforts ensure that employees are set up for success on each job site.
Theresa Lafontaine, Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Lafontaine joined PMI in September 2020 with over 20 years of experience in Construction Accounting and Finance, partnering field and finance best practices to achieve Operational Excellence. Ms. Lafontaine has held a variety of Senior Financial Leadership and Executive positions in the Utility Construction industries including Power, Renewable Energy, Civil, Gas & Underground, and Telecommunications. Ms. Lafontaine is most respected for her talent in process improvements, financial performance enhancement and decreasing DSO. Ms. Lafontaine holds an MBA from Benedictine University, a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from North Central College and is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA.
